Necrosis -Morphological changes indicative of cell death is a living tissue following harmful injury. Types of tissue Necrosis; 1. Coagulating necrosis: Infarct is a localized area of coagulating necrosis. Causes: Ischemia coused by an obstruction in a vessel. Mechanic: Ischemia denatures & coagulates structural proteins and enzymes. 2. Liquefacting Necrosis:- Dead dissue rapidly undergoes softening and transforms into a liquid viscous mass. Causes: Ischemic injury to contracted crus. Mechanism: Liquefaction is due to digestive action of the bydsalytic enzymes released frous dead cells & leukocytes. 3. Caseous Necrosis:- Distinctive type of necrosis which shows combined features of both coagulating dignit liquefactive necrosis. Causer: characteristic of tuberculosis to i's due to the hypersensitivity ros. 4. fat necrosis:- It refers to focal areas of sat destruction, which affacts adipose tissue. 6 styper: (a) Enzymatic fat necrosis: Occurs in adipose tissue around acutely inflamed pancreas.. (6) Fraumatic fat necrosis:- occurs in tissues with high fat content following severe trauma. 5. Fibrinoid Necrosis: characterised by deposition of pink taining proteinaceous material is the tissue matrix fiboris. with Staining palters similar to 6. (Gangrene:- It is massive necrosis with superadded putredaction. Types: (a) Day gangrene Causes: Arterial occlusion agra Sites: It usually in values a limb, generally the distal.....
