Influences of Family and Marriage In Health and Health Practices Family is the most important social unit which fulfills the needs of the individual. Every individual is living in the family from the time of birth to death. It largely determines the health of the individuals. Positive conditions of the family promote the health of its members and negative conditions cause health problems to them. Factors influencing health of individual in a family are: Social relationships Social support Family practice Women education Diet pattern 6.
