Journal Critique When reading what Chelsea had to say about being shy I thought about how I felt when I walked into the classroom. I was not nervous at all talking to the teacher because I have known her for a while. I was nervous though how the kids would react to me in the classroom and especial since my little brother was in the class. At first they thought I was there to watch him and make sure he did what he was told to do but the teacher explained to them that I was there to watch her and see how to be a teacher. After that, they really enjoyed having me there. They really enjoyed me working with them individual. I enjoyed the reading time the best because all the children were eager to read and wanted to read to me to get there point and go on to the next store. The only thing I found that many of the students did was read to fast, which made them skip over words, or miss pronounce words. I really enjoyed this field experience.
