Polar Vector (True Vector): Direction does not depend on handedness of the system. Example: Position vector (r) Axial (Pseudo Vector): Direction depends on handedness of the system. Example: Angular velocity (ω) etc. + sign From front → Clockwise From behind → Anti-Clockwise Rotation → Linear velocity (v) = dr/dt = Polar vector → Velocity (v) = (ω x r) = ω x r = polar vector → Torque (τ) = r x F = r x m(dv/dt) = m(r x dv/dt) Torque τ = r x F = axial vector Electric field: E = 1/4πε₀ (q/r³)r = polar vector Magnetic field: B = ∫(μ₀/4π) (Idl x r)/r³ = axial vector Magnetic vector potential: A = ∫(μ₀/4π) (Idl/r) = polar vector B = ∇ x A = axial vector
