The Arabian Nights There once was a King who was a devoted Muslim, but he suffered from the dark misfortune of melancholy and the creeping menace of madness. Shahryar, the King, found out about his wife's adultery and betrayal. He drew his saber in rage and hacked his wife and her lover to pieces when he saw them holding hands. After that, he made a decision to get engaged to a virgin every day, spend the night with her, and have her beheaded the next morning. This was the way of life in his kingdom for almost three years, so it was not shocking when there were no virgins left unprotected by nobles. The Wazir returned home in great sorrow, knowing that he would undoubtedly be executed, after the King sent him out to find a girl for his daily wedding but he could not find any. Shahrazad, his daughter, offered to go at that point. The Wazir eventually permitted his daughter to go to her - presumed - death after a protracted argument. Shahrazad was permitted to bring her sister along to kill time after enjoying the night's pleasures with the king. The captivating beauty started telling a story with her sister. Shahrazad had reached a significant turning point in the story when dawn arrived, at which point she ceased telling her sister goodbye. Captivated by his young bride's story, Shahryar promised her that she would live another day so that she could complete her tale the following evening. Naturally, Shahrazad completed her story the following evening, and the King, taken aback by the account, commended her. Since Shahrazad was honest, she told the King that she had a more exciting story to tell. So, after capturing his attention again, she told the next story all the way to the end. However, just like the day before, the Sun rose before she finished, so the King gave Shahrazad permission to stay alive until she finished the story the following evening. This cycle thus continued for a thousand days and one thousand nights, during which Shahrazad gave birth to three male children for the King, Shahryar, and the King fell deeply in love. Because of this love, she was given a celebration rather than being put to death after telling the King all of her stories and pleading for her life. Days and days passed during the city's festivities, when Shahrazad's sister wed Shahryar's brother, the Wazir was bestowed with the unique title of King of a subject territory, and Shahrazad and the King were married in public. Shahrazad was still regarded by her countrymen as the pinnacle of beauty despite having three children, so following her marriage, a small "fashion show" was planned for her and her sister. Shahrazad retreated to the King's bedroom after showcasing eight gowns that had been imported from all over the world. This time, she could be herself and love the king as a typical wife should because she was not anxious or under pressure. The King loved her with all of his heart because he respected and acknowledged this. In addition, King Shahryar regained his faith in women and turned back into a kind monarch. The kingdom flourished for a very long period because of Shahrazad's tales, which served as models and manuals for succeeding monarchs. Ultimately, As did Shahrazad's sister and the King's younger brother, whose life story is remarkably similar to that of his brothers, they all loved each other unconditionally until the end of their days and hated each other no more.
