Hyperactivity   Children with ADHD often appear very active and restless. They tend not to be able to sit still and often make excessive movements, such as playing with their fingers or feet, jumping up and down, or running around non-stop.  Children also tend to babble or talk constantly. 2. Lack of attention  Another characteristic is that they have difficulty maintaining focus or attention on a task.  They are often distracted easily by sounds or environmental  stimulation, even in activities they are interested in. Not only that, children who suffer from this condition also have difficulty listening to directions or following rules. 3. Impulsivity  Children with this condition tend to act without thinking first.  They may jump to decisions or actions without considering the consequences.  In addition, children with ADHD may also have difficulty waiting their turn and tend to interrupt or interrupt others when speaking. 4. Impulsivity  Impulsivity is also a fairly common symptom in adults with ADHD.  They may become overly talkative, take unnecessary risks, or have difficulty delaying gratification.  Sufferers also tend to have problems controlling their emotions and overreact to certain situations. 4. Difficulty in managing time  Adults with ADHD often have difficulty managing time and completing tasks on time.  They may have difficulty estimating the time needed to complete a task and tend to be late or rushed frequently. Common ADHD Symptoms in Children and Adults Although there are differences in ADHD symptoms between children and adults, there are some similarities between the two groups, such as:  Difficulty managing and maintaining a regular sleep pattern.  Difficulty organizing yourself, whether in planning daily activities or organizing your work space.  Poor memory skills, especially in remembering verbal information or instructions given.  Difficulty in managing stress and emotions, and are more susceptible to mental disorders such as depression or anxiety.  It is important to remember that ADHD symptoms will vary between individuals and can be of varying intensity.
