Describe the division of the types of social groups A social group is a set of human groups that live together, because they have a bond of relationship between them. This relationship is related to a reciprocal relationship where mutual influence between humans and an awareness to help each other. Social groups can also be interpreted as a set or unit consisting of several humans who live together. This togetherness is what causes the relationship between them to arise. In addition, this also involves a reciprocal relationship that affects each other and also an awareness to help each other. The following is a division of several types of social groups in society: 1) Statistical groups, which are groups that are not categorized as organizations, and do not have links and social relationships as well as awareness of the type between each otherSocietal groups, which are groups that have the same characteristics, but do not have organizations and relationships between their members. 2) Social groups, are members who have similar awareness and also have a relationship between one another, but are not bound by an organizationAssociation groups, are groups where members have similar awareness and have similarities in interests and have ties to formal organizations. But broadly speaking, social groups are divided into two types, namely: • Primary group, is a group of groups of people or individuals who have few members. • Secondary group, is a group of people or individuals who have a large number of members. Based on the explanation above, it can be seen that social groups are divided into two types, namely 1) Primary group, is a group of groups of people or individuals who have few members 2) Secondary group, is a group of people or individuals who have a large number of members. 2. Macler and Charles H., a social group is a collection of several people who have a shared awareness of membership who interact with each other. Meanwhile, groups are created by members of the community itself. Groups can also influence the behavior and character of their members. That is, a social group is a set of people who live together and undergo dependence on each other and help each other. The following is an explanation of primary groups and secondary groups: 1) Primary group, is a group of groups of people or individuals who have few members. Examples are family, peers, and relatives. 2) Secondary group, is a group of people or individuals who have a large number of members. Examples are organizations, schools, and study groups. 3. Explain the classification of social groups in society According to Syarbaini (2004), social groups are complex, which means that a person can belong to several social groups at once. However, in general, social groups can also be classified. The classification of social groups includes the following: 1) Primary Group and Secondary Group, meaning that a group can be primary if they know each other, have blood ties, and friendship. However, it can be secondary if its nature is based on cooperation on the count of profit and loss. 2) Gameinschaft and Gesellschaft, meaning that a group can be said to be gameinschaft if it is based on natural inner bonds. While gesellschaft is caused by mechanical physical ties, such as trade contract agreements, organizational member agreements and so on. 3) Formal Group and Informal Group, meaning that a social group can be said to be formal because the relationship system is deliberately created. However, if the relationship is limited to meetings that occur repeatedly on a personal basis, then the group is called informal. 4) Membership and Reference Group, meaning that this social group is called a reference group if a person can identify himself with a group, but he is not a member of it. For example, a person who does not succeed in becoming a student, but tries to behave like a student. 5) In-group and out-group, is a group of individual unity where members have a unity of loyalty, cooperation, friendship, and solidarity. This will occur in all levels of society, such as neighborhood associations, private civil servants, and so on. 4. Name a type of social crowd that is against the rule of law. There is an understanding in a social crowd or also called a social aggregate, which is a collection of individuals who have been in a place where they do not have a permanent relationship. From a grouping of individuals, it has also been referred to as a collectivity, which is a collection of people who are at a time or place which is temporary. There is also a crowd that has contradicted the norms of law or lawless crowd, namely as follows. 1) Mobs or acting mobs, which is a crowd which has an emotional action, also has a nature that has been uncontrolled because each individual is unable to give control to themselves, namely psychologically or physically. 2) Immoral crowds are a crowd whose actions are contrary to the norms of society. An example is a group of people who are drunk. 5. Explain the negative impact of social relations Social relations is an activity in social interaction with the community that can perform actions used to influence others and also provide information to others, this social relationship can be stable or run safely if there is awareness and tolerance by each individual but if done with a social deviation it will arise a social group dynamic in community relations such as war, and also social conflict and other forms. There are also negative impacts that can harm a person from social relations that occur in society, namely: 1) Formed a pluralistic group If a community group has a horizontal difference, such as values and norms. 2) There is an excessive sense of solidarity If in a group there is an excessive sense of solidarity, the people who belong to this group will have a sense that their group is the most superior group in society so that there is no sense of tolerance between the people. 3) Triggering a conflict that exists in society If in a group there is an opposition followed by violence or threats to fulfill desires that can be caused by differences in interests, differences in principles, differences in opinion, and also differences in beliefs in a social relationship.
