Physical Activity Concept -Activities : an energetic action or state of motion. -Physical activity: body movements produced by skeletal muscles that require it energy expenditure and produces progressive health benefits. -Body Mechanism is an effort to coordinate the musculoskeletal system and nervous system in maintaining balance, posture and body alignment during lifting, bending, moving and carrying out daily activities -Mobility: the ability to move freely, easily, rhythmically and purposefully environment Assessment of Tolerance to Activities The 4 main things in studying activities are influencing factors: 1. mobility and activity 2. joint movement 3. Body posture 4. Tolerance to activity To determine the patient's tolerance for activity, 10 responses were studied 1. Heart rate 2. Heart rhythm 3. Pulse strength 4. Blood pressure' 5. Breathing: speed, depth, rhythm. 6. Skin color 7. Skin temperature and humidity 8. Posture and balance 9. Speed of activity 10. Emotional Status Physical examination 1. Body alignment: shoulders and pelvis parallel, toes pointing forward, bones The back is straight, not curved to the other side. 2. Gait: upright and swinging 3. Risk of static and urinary tract infections in the supine position for a long time Planning & Action 1. Exercise joints & muscles as well as breathing and coughing exercises. 2. Change position regularly (Mika-miki) to prevent skin damage. 3. Skin care so that the skin is clean, dry and moist. 4. Provide sufficient food and drink. 5. Maintaining the need to defecate (BAB) & urinate (BAK). 6. Maintain comfort 7. Carrying out social interaction activities
