Indications for emergency blood count A complete blood count must be ordered urgently if there is suspicion of: acute anemia: major asthenia with pallor, polypnea, tachycardia, even systolic murmur, headaches, "flying flies" and intense thirst; - major granulocytopenia: fever, infectious syndrome, especially accompanied by angina and/or oral ulcerations; deep thrombocytopenia: hemorrhagic syndrome with purpura. So faced with the following symptoms: State of shock; Intense pallor; Ulcero-necrotic or antibiotic-resistant angina; - High fever after taking medication, especially after antimitotic chemotherapy; Antibiotic-resistant fever; Petechiae purpura with hemorrhagic syndrome.
