Case Study An XYZ pharmacy is a large pharmacy in an area. In carrying out its operations, this pharmacy has several employees who are in charge of serving customers. Supplier Data The business process rules that apply to the XYZ pharmacy are as follows: Each customer can buy more than one type of drug. In one sales transaction, a customer is only served by one employee and an employee every day can serve more than one customer in several sales transactions. Each buyer is only allowed to buy a maximum of 5 types of drugs in 1 day. If you buy more than 5 types, you must bring a doctor's prescription. There are 2 types of employees, cashiers and regular employees. Complete drug data as shown on the drug identification card, consisting of drug ID, name, type, price, stock, supplier ID. Meanwhile, supplier data is shown on the supplier card, which consists of supplier ID, name, address, city, telephone number. The sales invoice used in the drug sales process contains number, date, customer ID, employee ID, drug ID, amount, total, tax, total paid. Invoice for supply of drugs used in the process of purchasing drugs from drug suppliers contains number, date, employee ID, supplier ID, drug ID, amount of drug, total, tax, total paid. The process of managing transaction data and drug catalogs is carried out by recording in the Excel application based on drug data. The buying process begins. When the buyer places a drug order, the pharmacy employee will search for drug request data in Excel or search directly on the drugstore. After the transaction process, the cashier will enter sales and purchase data into Excel and the drug data is updated. When the pharmacy is busy and customers make lots of transactions, employees usually serve transactions at the cashier but forget to write down the transactions that occur and it often happens that employees who change shifts don't know the location of the medicine the customer is asking for. In its operations, the owner of the XYZ pharmacy wants a daily sales report assisted by an information system that can be monitored from anywhere. The pharmacy owner hopes that with this information system he can monitor every process that occurs even though he is not in the pharmacy. Answer 1.Problem    Ordinary employees who also serve cashiers when the pharmacy is busy with customers usually forget to enter the transactions that occur into the sales and purchase data in Excel so that it is possible for sales data to be missed or not recorded properly. It often happens that employees who change shifts don't know the location of the drug the customer wants to buy because of incomplete data. Unable to monitor business processes that occur in XYZ Pharmacy as a whole and less flexible because they cannot be monitored remotely.   Employees cannot remember who bought the medicine that day, so customers can buy more than 5 medicines in several different transactions, especially since the purchases are made in different shifts. Business owners cannot see employee attendance details such as tardiness, time of arrival & departure, and length of time an employee has worked. 2. Solution Domains Based on the problem domain above, XYZ Pharmacy needs a mechanism that can overcome the problems that occur in the form of an information system that can record all transaction activities carried out by customers. Furthermore, the results of the data recording obtained will later be converted and recorded automatically to the buying and selling data in the system so as to minimize the possibility of missing data. A system is also needed that can store detailed stock data and the location of each drug sold so that all employees working at the XYZ pharmacy can find out the location and stock of all drugs in detail, thus overcoming the problem where it often happens that employees who change shifts do not know the location of the drugs they are taking. requested by the customer. System Actor    Cashier: An actor who plays a role in serving customers when they want to find and make transactions for a product. XYZ Pharmacy Owner: An actor who plays a role in supervising and is fully responsible for all business processes that occur in his business. Employees: Actors who play a role in carrying out manual checks at least once every 2 months on the suitability of the location & number of goods in the system with the original goods. 4. Sentence of Need a. Functional Requirements        The system must be able to provide a security function that can authenticate users who log in by entering a username and password to have access rights to the system. The use of the login system is also used to find out which employees are responsible for each transaction that occurs. The system must be able to provide a function for storing drug data information shown on the drug identification card, which consists of drug ID, name, type, price, stock, supplier ID, as well as the location where the drug is placed in detail at the XYZ Pharmacy into the system database. The system must be able to provide a function to record all transaction activities that occur with detailed time information (day, date, month, year, hour) and invoice information. And being able to print it into a receipt every time a transaction is made The system must be able to provide a function to convert the results of data records into the form of buying and selling data automatically. The system must be able to provide a function to form reports from buying and selling data that can only be seen by the business owner. This report can later be monitored in real time and flexibly. Apart from that, business owners can also monitor the progress of their business by looking at their business report records during the timeframe provided by the system. The system is able to provide information related to stock, if the stock is running low, the system will give a warning to restock the item. Business owners can also check the stock condition of goods at any time in real time and flexibly. The system is able to record the buyer's KTP number data within 1 day, then is able to give a warning to the cashier if the system finds that the buyer with a certain ID number has purchased more than 5 drugs in a day b. Non-Functional Requirements     The system must be connected to the internet in order to run. The system can be accessed anytime and anywhere by business owners as long as there is an internet network. The system can view data on all business processes for business owners. The system must have a response time within 3 seconds so as not to hamper the ongoing transaction.    The system must be able to recognize users that have been stored in the database by simply entering the employee id and password. The system must be accessible via various devices such as laptops, computers, smartphones through the Application. The system will be installed on the motherboard/bios so that the PC can only be used to access system applications.
