Elements of Effective Communication Communication has the following basics: intention, interest, view, attachment, and involvement.Intentions regarding: 1) Who is the target 2) What will be achieved 3) When will it be delivered 4) Interest, there are two influencing factors, namely: 5) Objective factors: are the stimuli we receive 6) Subjective factors: are factors that concern the recipient of the stimulus 7) View, is the meaning of the information conveyed to the target, interpreting the information received depends on a person's education, work, experience and frame of mind. e.Stages of effective communication 1) The sender has an idea (idea) 2) The sender converts ideas into messages (that can be understood by the recipient) 3) The sender sends a message, through intermediary media (verbal/non-verbal, verbal/written) and medium (telephone, computer/memo) f.Effective communication techniques 1) Persuasive Communication (Persuasive Communication) Persuasive communication aims to change the attitudes, opinions or behavior of the communicant which puts more pressure on the psychological side of the communicant. This emphasis is intended to change attitudes, opinions or behavior, but persuasion is carried out smoothly, flexibly, containinghuman traits that result in awareness and willingness accompanied by feelings of joy. In order for persuasive communication to achieve its goals and objectives, it is necessary to carry out careful planning using the components of communication science, namely the communicator, message, media and communicant. So that thoughts, feelings and sensory results can be created in a stable and integrated manner. Usually this technique is affective, the communicant does not just know, but is moved and creates certain feelings. 2) Coercive/Instructive Communication (Communication in the Nature of Orders) Instructive communication or coercive communication techniques in the form of orders, threats, sanctions and other things that are coercive, so that the people who are targeted (communicants) do so by force, usually communication techniques like this is fear arousing, which is frightening or depicts bad risks. And it does not escape the nature of red-herring, namely interest or interest in achieving victory in a conflict, debate by dismissing weak arguments which are then used to attack the opponent. For a diplomat or political figure, this technique is a mainstay weapon and is very important for defending oneself or attacking diplomatically.
