Done at the 2 and 10 o’clock position. Legs -> McRobert’s manoeuvre Pressure -> suprapubic pressure Enter manoeuvres Woodscrew Reverse woodscrew Roberts II Release posterior arm Roll patient onto all fours. If none of the above work: Symphysiotomy Zavenllie manoeuvre -> send off for c section Celidotomy -> fracture baby’s clavicle AVOID THE FOLLOWING: FUNDAL MESSAGE DOWNWARD TARCTION Post-Operative Steps and Documentation Assess for the following Baby: APGAR scores Features of brachial plexus injury Clavicle fracture Thoracentesis Mother PPH Wellbeing Features Document the following Time of detection of shoulder dystocia, who detected it and how Time called for help How long it took for help to come and who came and their position and the time that they came What manovres were made, who made them and the time and how successful they were Mother’s consent If any complications happened Final outcome What equipment was used and how much was used Amount of blood loss Debriefing of mother and staff
