INTERICOSTAL NERVE 4 ATYPICAL INTERPOOSTAL NERVES THORACO ABDOMINAL N. The atypical intercostal nerves are as follows. 1st Intercostal Nerve: The greater part of this nerve joins the ventral ramus. C-8 Spinal nerve to form lower trunk of brachial plexus. The remaining part of the neme is very small and it lacks both lateral and anterior culeneous branches. 2nd Intercostal Nerve :- Its lateral Cuteneous branch is called Intercostobrachial Nerve. COURSE:- It courses across the axilla and joins the medial cuteneous branch of the arm. DIPANKAR RAY The Interrostobrachial neme Supplies the skin of the floor of the axilla and upper part of the medial side of the arm- . In this coronary nerve arterial the disease the cardiac pain is refferred along to medial side of the am. 7th to 11th Intercostal Nerve:- Human Anctomy For Exam. These enter nerves into the leave the corresponding intercostal spaces to Thoraco abdominal Nerves abdominal wall; hence they are called These interrostal nerves supply interrostal muscles of the corresponding Spaces. In addition they supply - (a) Muscles internal of anterior abdominal wall eg external and oblique, transverse abdominis. and rectus oblique, abdominis in. Lbj Skin inner and surface panetal peritoneum covering the outer and of the abdominal wall, respectively.
