STRUCTURE PASSING THROUGH THE CARPAL TUNNEL (Deep to the 1 flexor Retinaculism Median Nerre :- It is the most superficial Structure ie immedately behind the flexor retinaculum. (2) 4 Tendons of the flexor digitorum Superficials Enclosed by the common (3) 4 Tendons of the flexor digitarum profundus flexor synovial sheath (4 Tendon of flexor pollicis longus - within its own Synovial sheath [Umar bursa) 5 Recurrent branch of deep palman arch 1 ascending infront of carpal bones (Radial bursa) to join the ant oarpal anastomsis. N.B. - Tendon infront of of flexar Carpi radialis occupies a special compartment retinaculum not a content of C-Turnel trapezium deep to the lateral end of the CLINICAL IMPORTANCE* CARPAL TUNNEL SYNDROME DEFINATION It is a condition in which there is a compression of the median n its as it press through the carpal tunnel leading to injury.
