‭Indeterminate leprosy (IL)‬ ‭-‬ ‭Beginning form in all. It can be cured or evolved into other forms. Spots‬ ‭hypochromicor single, extensive and poorly defined erythematous (nonspecific).‬ ‭First and painful thermal hypoesthesia‬ ‭Dimorphic (LD) or borderline leprosy‬‭:‬ ‭-‬ ‭Intermediate and unstable form between the T pole and the L pole. BT – BB – BL‬ ‭spectrum. Macules and plaquespoorly delimitedand asymmetrical, more numerous‬ ‭and infiltrated. Hypothesia.‬ ‭Tuberculoid leprosy (LT or TT)‬‭:‬ ‭-‬ ‭Stable paucibacillary form. Destruction of bacilli in tuberculoid granulomas.‬ ‭Geographic erythematous plaqueswell-defined, scarce and asymmetrical, more‬ ‭infiltrated, with central healing - On the face, buttocks and MM.II.‬ ‭-‬ ‭Greater neural involvement (facial, ulnar, median, sciatico-popliteal) with thickening and‬ ‭anesthesia‬ ‭Lepromatous leprosy (LL):‬ ‭-‬ ‭Stable multibacillary form. Hardly bacillary destruction (low immunity). Abundant‬ ‭-‬ ‭macules, plaques and nodules (lepromas) poorly delimited and symmetrical.‬ ‭Lepromas and alopecia of eyebrows on face (leonine facies). Also in buttocks‬ ‭and MM.II.‬ ‭Leproreactions‬‭:‬ ‭-‬ ‭Acute episodes due to changes in the immunological situation after‬ ‭antibiotic treatment, pregnancy, infections, stress.‬ ‭-‬ ‭Type I‬ ‭Especially in BT – BB – BL. Never on LI. Neuritis and reactionshypersensitivity‬ ‭-‬‭Reversal reactionupward) Immune improvement. Approaches pole T‬ ‭-‬‭Downgrading reaction (falling) Worsening. Strange. Approaches pole L‬ ‭-‬ ‭Type IIEspecially in LL Porimmune complexes(humoral response) with vasculitis.‬ ‭Multiple episodes of systemic involvement (MEG, arthralgias, neuralgias and cutaneous)‬ ‭-‬ ‭Erythema nodosum leprosum‬ ‭-‬‭Polymorphic erythema‬ ‭-‬ ‭Necrotic ulceration‬ ‭(Lucio phenomenon).‬
