Functions of various parts of Ear Parts of the organ 1. Pinna Function Collects sound waves and directs them to the external auditory canal. Passage of sound waves to ear chum secretes ear wax. 2. Eustachian tube Helps to balance the air presence of the tympanum so that it is not damaged. 5. Eao ossicles Helps in the transmission of vibrations of from the tympanum to the internal eax and also increases the forces of vibration. by approximately ten times. 6. semicircular canals 7. Vestibule 8. cochlea 9. Auditory nerves Maintenance of balance. Maintenance of balance. Hearing Pass Impulses of sound craves from Cochlea to the brain.
