SLIDE PRELEROMON Aim: To prepare a temporary laned amount of Check squamous epithelia cells of man. Materials required are a slide, coverslip, needle, brush, toothpick, methylene blue, watch glass, and microscope. PROCEDURE: 1. With the help of washed tooth pick scarp gently the inna side of the cheok to get some epithelial cells. 12. put the scrapping on a clean slide and spread it curth a Deadle 3. Add a drop of methylene blue stain to the cheek cells. 4. After two minutes, remove the dain and put a drop of glycerine on the slide cover it with a cover slip. 15. Press it with a needle to make the cells spread uniformly under the cover slip. 6 observe the slide under the microscope. OBSERVATIONS 1. cells are flattened and polygonal or roughly Polygonal 2. The nucleus is oxal for spherical and lies in the centre of the cell. 15. The cytoplasm contains mitochondria which took like granules.
