Steps for installing splints 1) Wear a mask 2) Wash your hands 3) Usinghandscoon 4) Carry out a general condition assessment 5) Conduct an awareness assessment. 6) Use standard prevention against infection (Standard Precautions) 7) Overcoming the problem of ABC stopping bleeding 8) Explain the action to be taken and position the patient as comfortably as possible and remove clothing covering the fracture area 9) Check and record pulsation,motor, sensory before placing the splint 10) Cover open wounds with gauze or sterile cloth 11) Provides soft enough padding on the splint 12) Install the splint in the right place.
