I live in South Nobleton area that borders Kleinburg, Ontario in Canada. The area is within Kings Municipality of the York Region. The houses in my neighborhood are characterized by new developments that are between 5 – 10 years old. However, there are other older developments of about 25 to 50 years old at the edge of the neighborhood joining to other areas. Although there are a number of developments within my region, they are not as densely populated as other areas in the greater Toronto areas. Many homes in my area are single detached homes with at least a car garage with a capacity of 2 cars. A number of the properties lie on half- an acre of land with a greater frontage compared to other development in the greater Toronto area.
Some of the areas within the neighborhood are still farmlands that explains why there is no public transit within my neighbourhood. The closest train stop is located at King city which is about 15 minutes from my home with a vehicle and there are absolutely no bus stops or subway lines within the town. My neighborhood is dominantly characterized by young or growing families, due to the close proximity of 2 elementary schools, and the number new homes being built throughout the area. Whereas there are many residential units, there are limited retail spaces within the neighborhood with only two grocery stores, one pharmacy, and 3 plazas in the whole area of Nobleton. The area has public recreational spaces comprising of various parks, hiking trails, and natural terrain paths accessible to the public and it is maintained and regulated by the city officials.

The neighborhood has one community center that organizes community events and that draw people from various paces for the social events. The center acts as a social space for meeting people and offering support to families that need it within the community. Notably, the neighborhood does not have fully equipped medical centers within and it has small care centers. The main hospital, which is Richmond Hill, Ontario, is locates in an area of about a 20-minute drive. The town area is crossed by two major highways, which is the highway 400 north and highway 400 south. The town is located about 40 minutes away from Toronto, which is the core City in my region making my town a commuter town for the people working in the city or near as there are limited industries in the town or within the region.
