K-pop (short for Korean pop) is a genre of popular music which originated from South Korea. It is influenced by styles and genres from around the world, such as rock, jazz, gospel, hip hop, R&B, reggae, electronic dance, folk, country, and classical on top of its traditional Korean music roots. However, K-pop as we know it today has evolved into a cocktail including Korean music, fashion style, and dance to capture the imagination of Korean youth. K-pop has begun to take shape as a formal industry that combined the idol training system of Japan with the music, dance, food, beauty, technology, and fashion. The popularity has brought about a trend of super-size groups cannot be separated from the growing popularity of idol survival shows, hence the televised competitions with the price being joining a new group. The following K-pop Idols actually look like dolls.

YooA, a member of the girl group Oh My Girl under WM Entertainment, looks like a breathing doll. YooA was born on September 17, 1995, in Seoul, South Korea as Yoo Yeon-joo and legally changed her name to Yoo Si-ah. She debuted in the South Korean girl group Oh My Girl on April 20, 2015 and has since then taken part in the Mnet dance TV show, Hit the Stage, joined the reality show Idol Drama Operation Team, made her solo debut with the extended play ‘Bon Voyage’ and released a couple of singles among them, ‘Morning Call’ and ‘Bon Voyage’. Most people who see YooA for the first time always describe her as a doll. You could describe her gorgeous facial features as: large round-shaped eyes and plump red lips that look almost unreal when she puts on a blank expression. She has a slim figure, with long and perfect arms and legs which give her that mannequin look. Everything about her is perfectly unique and that’s why most people claim that YooA was born to be an idol, with her looks, her talents, and her loveable personality.

Eunha, is a South Korean singer and actress. She is the lead vocalist of the girl group GFriend. She was born on May 30, 1997 as Jung Eun-bi and later adopted ‘Eunha’ as her stage name. Eunha debuted as a member of South Korean girl group GFriend in early 2015 with the song ‘Glass Bead’. She has featured in projects such as Han River at Night, Six Flying Dragons, Oh My God! Tip and Inferiority Complex. She also resembles a doll. She has a baby face with big brown eyes, short black hair which really suits her. Her smile is amazing and I would rate her as most attractive of the rest GFriend, she's really cute no one can deny it. She wears short skirts and dresses as well, which is common to many dolls. Eunaha’s beautiful skin, but Eunha’s skin seems smoother without make up and this adds to her amazing doll features.

With the right makeup, pose, lighting, and the perfect combination of clothing most K-pop idols look living dolls. Most people usually pick this up on the first encounter with a person and would later describe them as doll-like. K-pop idols are always serving serious visuals and this really influences their trade. Fashion is a major determining factor in K-pop group competitions and the fact that these models are as attractive enough to be compared to adorable dolls is quite amazing.
