The focus of this report is to discover what influences my participation in sport and physical activities. This topic is worthy of discussion because over the next mouth and a half I will be given the opportunity to participate in golf. In order to complete this task, I will clearly demonstrate how golf is a low-profile sport in Australia. I will explain whether or not I would choose to play golf as a physical activity, justifying my answer using personal influences and socio-cultural factors.

I believe golf is viewed as a low-profile sport in Australia due to the lack of funding and priority within Australian culture. A low-profile sport can be defined as a sport that is not viewed to be as a high a position or as significant than different sport (www.macmilliandictionary.com). This implies hight-proflie sports will in general get more financing than lower profile sports. Some of Australia hight-profile sports are ; athletics, swimming and hockey, case of low-profile sports in Australia are Badminton and Golf. The Australian sports commission (ASC) gives funding to the most like sports of world class sports and board-based sports . commission (ASC) provides funding to balance the requirement of elite sports and board-based sports. however , hight class sports are supported and advantaged more than low profile sports as far as; financing, acknowledgment and cooperation levels. As indicated by the 2018-19 NSO funding (National Sporting Organization) as of 30th June Golf just got $2,285,750 from the Australian games commission, though swimming got $17,475,203 and athletics got $9,745,985 (www.sportaus.gov.au). Both these games got alot more money than Golf demonstrating they are high-prolfile sports and Golf is low-prolfe sport

The Crawford report was discharged in 2009 and it found that there is a pattern of Australian Government funding for sport was appropriated enormously in support to the Olympics and the hight class levels in many sports (Amezdroz et al, 2010). In 2007-08 the ASC disseminated early $90 million in awards to national sport organisations . Generally 80% of this went to the Olympic games and over 90% high performance programs in spite of the fact that enhancements have been made the pattern is still to use most of funding given by the government to be allocated to the hightclass sporting levels(Amezdroz et al, 2010). The 2018-19 NSO financing demonstrates that of the general measure of $9,745,985 was supported to Australian Athletics $7,275, 985 of that all out funding is designated for elite though just $620,000 was allotted towards the interest of games at the base level. (Statisticswww.sportaus.gov.au).

Sports and physical action are critical in my life as it is an instrument I use to keep my body and mental strong and with the games I play building connections and making new friendship I have taken part in golf recreationally with people before yet don't play golf all the time, my choice is not to avoid the physical action of golf. golf is a nice relaxing sport what good for eveyone heath its good for young or old people to play as ts a fair, friendships type sport

I chose golf as a sport I would play for fun because playing golf is fantastic cardiovascular exercise which brings numerous physcal and mental health benefits Swinging a golf club builds muscle and strengthens your core and if you pull or carry your golf bag instead of opting for the buggy you'll be getting an even better workout. I like golf because it’s a fun time waster and its reducing stress because it a non-conduct sport with competitive and non-competitive games and a good chill workout .

Sociol-social factors are ways of life and qualities that portray a general socitey n the space of golf there is numerous factors that may sports and activty these incorporate cultural , social, and environmental l it is critical to take note of no single factor. decides the result of whether somebody will take part in a sport each factor is firmly connected to one another in view on preparticipation the social factors that can impact. an interests of friends if your companions have an interrest that may might you to take part yet on the off chance that your companions have no intersest, at that point you wont even consider golf sports offered at school if a school is to offer golf as a game than that will make some interrest for the game and advance its quality in todays youth the ,have and if any is accessible a huge social factor is the impact of family and promtoe the sport
