People trust one word in the press more than ten words from of the government. The government tries to hide their information from the press. Most people live in a country that has a democracy, but they have no idea what is really happening in the government. People usually find out about the government from the press. Therefore, the media should be given total freedom of the press so that citizens can pay more attention to the development of the country, and know about the country operates.

There will be no democracy if there is freedom for the press because a media-centered society can be formed. First of all, if all the media have freedom, then they would be including their personal feeling and opinion in the press. Articles that contain personal feelings and opinions can create misconceptions, and the media likes to use more extreme and interesting subjects, so they would be writing more exaggerated articles. To illustrate, when a reporter who personally dislikes President Donald Trump should write a report for President Trump, if the press is given the freedom and the reporter writes disparaging the president at his will and the people see the article and believe it, then the government will have no control. It is a better choice to be cautious than to liberate the press, because the media's personal opinions can influence people's thinking. Therefore, when the press publishes an article, the evidence proves the article, so it doesn't take too much personal position and emotion. Secondly, when the press has freedom, the people would easily be confused by too much information such as the truth and the essential information. In fact, the more information there is, the more useless information there is.

People would be confused about what is the right and wrong information. Few of the many articles have been written solely on solid evidence, and many articles are written in conjecture. The article has been found to be groundless after it has already been published, and the media often make revisions again. That's why people are confused about which to believe, whether to mislead them to believe. In some cases, the media may confuse people, but even if so, having more information can make more accurate judgments from that information. Finally, if freedom is given to the press, the media publishes everywhere of the government in order to give the people as much information as possible. If that happens, the person in the government will be given all personal information and this will constitute a human rights violation. Of course, digging up the government’s personal information can find many problems, but if no privacy will be kept for the government. Therefore, it is important to protect the privacy of the government, but more importantly, it is to know if the person can take over the work of the state.

If the press has more enough of freedom, then people can make the best choice with more information. First, citizens have the right to know about the reality of the government, and they have a right to know if crimes such as embezzlement or money laundering occur in the government. For example, Park Geun-Hye, former president was elected the first Korean woman president in 2013, but she eventually became the first president to be impeached by many South Koreans. The Korean media informed society that Park's best friend, Choi Soon-sil, had much advice and influence on presidential politics and stole $ 4 million in three years of politics. After an article was published in the media, numerous investigations revealed 18 embezzlements of President Park Geun-hye and were convicted at the end of the trial (Munro, pars. 7-8). This incident shows how important the role of the press is. If the Korean press could not freely inform the public of such an incident, it would not have been revealed forever. As a result, giving freedom to the press has become essential for people's right to know and necessary for democracy. Second, telling the press to report limited news can be seen as part of communism.

The government tries to hide issue that is disadvantageous to them and show only the best part to citizens. North Korea is known for its communist press. North Korea’s media are based on communist media views. The communist media is supposed to function as to instill government and policy thought and also mobilized them to create a communist society. In other words, the media is supposed to function as a tool for political and socialization. North Korea blocks the media from leaking its information, and they just brainwash to North Korean by their intellection for keeping them under the control such as a dictatorship (“Press Broadcasting”). But if the press is free in formal, dictatorships and communist politics would not exist. It is necessary to know a variety of information from the media that can show a more objective view of politics than from the information provided by the government. Third, as an individual, there is a limit to getting information. “Individuals generally cannot get sufficient information on their own to make an informed decision on public matters, so they rely on media to provide information'(Eagan). If there is freedom of the press, there are many opportunities for a lot of information. Because a lot of information can give both opinions as well as one opinion. Also, based on a lot of information and opinions, citizens can think of self about what is right and wrong and make judgments. Furthermore, when providing information in various media, not only their opinions, but also a lot of evidence are put together, so that more accurate information can be obtained. For example, if two presses have different opinions, they can build credibility with the consent of many citizens with more certainty and accurate evidence than other media. As a result, the more information people have, the more likely they are to make the right choices and the greater their interest in the country.

Although, when complete freedom is given to the press, it becomes a democratic society. The media provide a lot of information to make citizens more interested in social management and to have personal opinions. No one can’t stop freedom for a reason of the media can confuse people, get too much personality and the media can abuse power. Because of the media can make a more democratic society with more certain information and more diverse information.
