I have a passion for helping people and over time my passion extended to the medical field. In the past years, my curiosity has heightened about battles fought in Iraq and the ongoing war in Afghanistan and I wonder to myself how I can be of help. With the little knowledge I have gathered on winning battles, one of the most important strategies in winning a war has to do with air support, thus the reason the Air Force is my first choice. I currently may not have the prerequisite skills for flying an aircraft nor handling communication gadgets, however, my current educational background and my aforementioned passion can be put to good use once accepted into the Air Force.
In my growing years, I have been involved in numerous activities that have helped me to excel and greatly improve my skills; my harnessed communication and leadership skills can be put to use and I can achieve more by working at the Air Force.

The core values of the Air Force are “Integrity first, service before self, and excellence in all we do” and as a child born into a Christian home, these values have been instilled in me. I have a strong drive and this propels me to pursue my dreams and accomplish anything that I set out to do. Not only do I desire to be an officer in the Air Force; but I also have an aspiration to become medical personnel in the Air Force dedicated to the service of people and saving lives as best as I can. I believe there is no greater purpose in life than to serve my countrymen/women.
I am disciplined, highly motivated, and always strive to be the very best in everything I do. In addition to that, I have a keen desire which I believe will make me a great officer in the air force. I have proven myself to be hard-working and always successful at the various jobs I have undertaken. I learned many things in the course of my employment history, the most important of which is the dividends of hard work. Becoming an Air Force officer would avail me the opportunity to pursue this mission in greater ways than I could ever do as an individual. It would grant me experiences that most civilians are not privileged to have.
While I have sought many leadership positions in the past, none will challenge my skills and harness my abilities as much as being an Air Force officer, just as the saying goes with great difficulty also comes the great potential for growth.” I love to learn and in turn pass on what I have learned to help others. I have the determination and drive to complete tasks before me and lead others effectively and efficiently. Past experiences have proven I can think and strategically respond to crises while calm. Honor, teamwork, faithfulness, and respect are qualities I also possess. I respect those above me and also accord respect to my peers and subordinates. I learned to be a good leader as well as what it takes to be a better follower. I intend to bring integrity, loyalty, and excellence to the table as an Air Force officer.
I am seeking an opportunity to not only hone my skills but also challenge and improve myself personally. The Air Force is a unique organization and I am confident I would be able to perform my duties as an officer. I promise to dedicate myself to the United States Air Force and try to improve it in my little way I am looking forward to becoming a member of the world’s greatest team. As John F. Kennedy once said, “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country”. I would be able to serve the country the best way I can once I become an Air Force officer. I sincerely thank you for your service and for considering my application.
