Leaving your trails to unexplored locations shall drive you to some of the most astonishing affairs. Amidst the number of trips that made sure to touch my heart and soul with its serenity, dramatic, panoramas, and exhilarating adventure motions, Sikkim continues to transcend in reminiscence.
This quaint town nestles in northeast India with major attractions like gorgeous and inviting Kanchenjunga, glacier-fed water bodies, Gurudongmar and Chang lakes, captivating meadows, and Buddhist monasteries. We had planned a 5-day family excursion to Sikkim. The days preceding the expedition went surprisingly swiftly, with an intense wanderlust, as I locked my cars that night and waited impatiently for the next daylight, our tour date.

At the Bagdogra airport, we met our tour representative, who in his automobile backed us to the capital metropolis of Sikkim, Gangtok. A welcoming banquette is what I remember with fondness about that day I ran my stilly oily claws aloft the freshly brewed drink set next to the tarried pinfish. The serving of its head cherished the fish, which evoked me of the autumn petals, active and fragile. Underneath the exotic flakes of the impossibly glossy exciting treat were the pith muscles. The dessert was lusciously gourmet with warm caramel custard, cream piped between layers of eggless cocoa mousse, cinnamon-flavored graham waffles, butter stoch and chocolate sped butterfat. Divine. And that was solely the beginning.
The next day, our trip administrators planned a trek from Gangtok to the famous Yumthang Valley. This hike was a part of our haul from Chungthang to Yumthang! The purpose was to act as a way to fares from Chungthang to Lachung and then commute from Lachung to Yumthang. We farded many falls and shoots, and the sight drizzle composed them to look breathtaking. We met several avid travelers, and I experienced the true meaning of 'Meraki' in them.
As horrified by our trip advisors, our voyage was going to end up with white water rafting. We huddled closer to our guide who gave us instructions and forthoughts. Although I strived strenuously to focus, my attention was arrested by the water-babble. They fastened us with life jackets and headgears. We were handed puddles taller than us. I relished the rippling stream and lowered my thumbs within the freezing water. The rafting commenced, and enormous drifts were built in front of us, which seemed like lifeless spirits. Our raft rolled with the tides and a gigantic wave crashed into our raft. It sent a shiver down my spine. Our duches went more robust. We gave down the rapids, more continuously then, and our journey came to an end.
My first rafting experience was nothing short of thrilling. We rode back to our camp and drank a steaming mug of cappuccino by the bonfire, reflecting on countless moments as we were ready to pack our bags for the return.
It was the best travel experience ever, backed by a collection of memories and a wealth of experience and exposure.
