The Female Quixote is a work written by Charlotte Lennox in the mid-18th century. In it, the author makes an imitation of Don Quixote of La Mancha by Miguel de Cervantes. It belongs to a period in which satire, romance and the novel, were not well differentiated. Thus, in this novel, the former romantic genre and traditional forms are challenged. George, and Arabella changes her personality, from strong to weak, due to the lovesickness caused by Glandville.
