If this explosion was to kill the Führer it wouldn’t take long for the Nazis to surrender without their intelligent leader and the holocaust would have been stopped. What made Operation Valkyrie fail was that prior to the explosion, a German officer moved the briefcase away from Hitler when Stauffenberg left.[4] This ultimately prevented the death of Hitler and allowed Nazi Germany to continue the Holocaust, proving it inevitable.
