American food culture is relatively fast food types such as burgers, fries, steak, and so on. Of course, there are some other dishes in the United States such as Chinese, Indian, Japanese, etc. but they are fewer and the price is more expensive. America has more coffee culture than Malaysia. The local people usually love coffee whether it is morning or work or school time, there are many coffee shops on the street and coffee is not as expensive as in Malaysia such as Starbucks, The Coffee Bean, and so on. Among them, the food of America is healthier and more expensive. For example, it seems that a bowl of salad is more expensive than a fast food burger. Food delivery culture is now popular in the U.S.A, and this culture provides a lot of convenience for the people there. They just place an order in a specific app, and there is a feature of food delivery there that is not available in Malaysia, which means you can refund or return if you are not satisfied with the quality of the food. In the catering culture, customers need to pay extra tips to the waiters and there is no specific limit on tip fees. Compared to Malaysia, we don’t have this kind of culture for giving tips to waiters, this is a personal choice, you can give it or not.
In addition, In the United States, the size of the clothes and pants will be larger than in Malaysia. For example, the pant size cutting in the United States is XS size but in Malaysia is M size. Also, there are all kinds of trendy clothes over there, and many more famous brands from there such as Calvin Klein, Kate Spade, Converse, and so on.
For the transport system, American public transportation is more convenient than Malaysia. They have a lot of public buses moving in different areas and they arrive at their destinations on time. This case is for city areas such as New York, Chicago, Washington, and other cities. Among such a variety of public transportation, they are more likely to take subways and public buses. However, outside the city, public transport is poor in most places. The frequency of stops for public transport is less and they are not well connected. Most people outside the city in the United States have to rely on their transport like cars and motorbikes even with the rising cost of petrol. Another interesting thing is that the United States has Uber as the ride-hailing service but in Malaysia, we don’t have Uber but is Grab a ride-hailing service.
To compare the weather of the United States with Malaysia, there are four seasons in a year, which are spring, summer, autumn, and winter but Malaysia only has summer for the whole year. The winter time in the United States normally starts from November until March. The climate in the United States changes due to changes in latitude and a range of geographic features, including mountains and deserts. Normally, on the continent, the United States traveling southward is warming and drying westward until it reaches the west coast.
