Malcolm X was an African-American leader, he was born in Omaha, Nebraska on May 19, 1925. When Malcolm was young he wanted to be a lawyer and was discouraged by his teacher she had told him that he could not become a lawyer. Then as he got older his father died and that was not to easy for him. When he became a teenager he started to sell drugs in Harlem at that time it was the city of crime. As he got older he was not getting any better he was often running from the police and they eventually caught him when he turned 21 he was sentenced to 10 years in the Charlestown State Prison. During his time in prison, he became increasingly receptive to the message of Islam brought to him by his brother Reginald, when he got released from prison he got very involved with the Nation of Islam under Elijah Muhammad. He later became minister for the temple in New York. when it had got to 1963 he split from the nation and had then gotten many treats for the next few years. After it was all over he started to travel around the world and became in intention celebrity. When he got back home he was later assassinated on February 21, 1965, by three-member of the Nation of Islam. He has a whole bunch of streets and schools named after him because of how famous he was in the U.S.

Malcolm X and Martin Luther King jr were friends Malcolm had a very powerful impact on the black and Africa-American community. He was instrumental in forging the movement of black power and radicalism that departed from the non-violent approach of Martin Luther King jr. Malcolm was a human rights activist and was popular during the civil rights movement. He is best known for his controversial advocacy for the rights of blacks it was one of the main things that he was known for. when he was just born his father died and his mother was hospitalized so Malcolm was in and out of foster homes. Malcolm was accused of a lot of things like having white America in the harshest terms for its crimes against black Americans. When all of the other people were calling him racist. On the other hand, he has also been called some very good things and that was that he was the greatest and most influential Africa-American in history. As Malcolm got a little older he became known as el hajj Malik El Shabazz. He was a very now traveler for a little bit of time he Flu across all of Africa. He had seven other brothers and sisters he was the fourth born out of all of them. When he was a junior in high school he dropped out of school after a white teacher told him that practicing the law his aspiration at the time was “no realistic goal for a black person.” Malcolm said that there was really place or spot for him in the white world. late 1945, Little returned to Boston, where he and four accomplices committed a series of burglaries targeting wealthy white families.
