I am Alexander Graham Bell and I am 29 years old. In 1876, I invented a revolutionary new invention the telephone. I am a Scottish-born and worked in London with my father, Melville Bell, who developed ‘Visible Speech’, a written system used to teach speaking to the deaf. In the 1870s, my family moved to Boston, where I began to progress on the telephone.
In the late 1700′s and early 1800′s, the first telegraph was invented. The telegraph system was a form of communication that transmitted electric signals over wires from different locations to translate messages. This was the way we would communicate with people, people would also communicate through handwritten letters. This form of communication was delivered by horses which meant that communication was slow. This made me realize that there could be another way of communication.
I am most famous for my invention of the telephone. I first became interested in the science of sound because both my mother and wife were deaf. The experiments in sound eventually let me want to send voice signals down a telegraph wire.
The telephone converts the sound waves created by a voice, into electronic signals that are transmitted using cables and other communication channels to another telephone which produces the sound to the receiving user.
The invention of the telephone provided an important device for assisting human communication at the time of the industrial revolution. The telephone was used as one-way communication for transferring recorded messages. The telephone has played an important role in directing telephone calls and performing emergency calls, which can save people’s lives.
The economic impact of my invention of the telephone changed many people's lives. After I invented the telephone, many people realized that they could make more money off of the telephone by manufacturing them cheaper and selling them for more money. This resulted in factories paying cheap labor and in progress began growing the industrial markets worldwide.
Many inventions were created that led to significant impacts on society. Moreover, my invention has a guaranteed success rate in the future of the world. It helps communication among people and places anywhere in the world and has less chance of misunderstanding or miscommunication between users. It will send voice messages securely and quickly and will help worldwide trade among countries.
You should invest in my invention of the telephone because it has assisted with communication and transmits signals to people across places. The telephone had a huge impact on communication during the industrial revolution because of the profitable rising markets demanding the telephone, it lets you communicate with people in different countries and helps reduce many misunderstandings which lead to bad outcomes. Moreover will send voice messages securely and quickly and will help with global trade.
I was often credited as the inventor of the telephone since I was awarded the first successful patent. However, there were many other inventors such as Elisha Gray and Antonio Meucci who also developed a talking telegraph. These people’s designs helped me understand and invent the telephone.
