A college education is valuable, as a college education can help people apply for jobs that involve higher wages for their workers not only does having a college education help with better wages but also helps people get access to better benefits than someone who does not have a college education. College is a very important type of education especially when you acquire a degree that will give you access to benefits. People who do not have a college degree get paid less than someone who has acquired a degree. Getting a college education is worth it.
Having a college education can help people find a job with high wages the study that The Bureau of Labor Statistics shows that an average person with some college education but no degree was paid an average of 712 dollars compared to someone with a college education and degree who was paid 326 dollars more or 1038 dollars. “Without a college degree, only 14 percent of Americans from the bottom fifth of parental income reach the top two-fifths” (Rotherham 85). “Widespread dissatisfaction with higher education.
