In adult courts judges, Have fewer choices or you going away for a long time, and sometimes the only option to choose is prison and that’s not a good place you want to be. Kids under the age of 18 are not perfect innocents. Many of them begin thinking and acting more maturely. Punishing them for their wrongdoings teaches them accountability, which they can bring with them until they grow old.
