Adam and his lover — Eve were the first to experience the reality of what fellowship with God is, being a father and the perfect image of whom they aspire to become. One sunny afternoon while Eve was collecting fruits for herself and her heartthrob . She crossed crosses path with another speaking figure with a strange intent, she offset order of balance in the garden. The shadow of death called shame set in and set the law of sin and death in motion in Adam and his generation. ‘Who told you that you are naked? ‘ said God to Adam as God came in the cool of the day to fellowship with his beloved. ‘What is this that you have done ?’ he asked facing Adam’s lover.
How can this veil be taken away ? How was the law of Life and spirit set free for the salvation of mankind through the second Adam?
Although the nature of this book give life to the anthropological world view that existence of life came through Adam, which I affirm and accept , I enjoyed the imaginative narrations, study questions of discussion , personal experiences as well as the familiar characters brought to life. I read the book in four days , which is in itself a recommendation for the book.
At first , I wasn’t convinced the dramatisations were necessary and that I wanted to finish the book, because i was feeling it was unnecessarily detailed. Unknowing to me that those details got me engrossed , obviously I was just being lazy to engage the book at the beginning.
The book contains a revenge scene which the author didn’t bring to life, seeing that dramatisation of character was what got me glued. This showed that the the author was being modest in holding back painting an homicidal scenery in the book —context of how Cain killed Abel. He also decided to leave out shedding light on chapter ‘Wrestling against flesh and blood and other adversary’. The realities of demonic forces operations was literarily avoided how ? The author simply quoted ‘ Don’t try to drive darkness out — Just turn on the Light’. I feel this isn’t sufficient to dissuade me from this reality he however used personal experiences to shed light.
The Adamic nature and fall is a theological body of truth in modern Christianity and I honestly have rarely seen graphic dramatisations in its modern application.
The imaginative narration felt real. Not just so captivating that I wished that many humans would read this Christian worldview brought to life. It was practically detailed that I feel its theologically accurate. The realities discussed here has shed a lot of light on the New Creation Man series many Non-Christians, Judeo-christians, and Christians have had trouble understanding as it comes to faith and following Jesus Christ as the Lord and personal saviour. The biggest appeal to me was how to hear God in the seventh chapter.
While I tag on to this revelation about nakedness ‘When their eyes were opened, their actions convey that they became aware of the merits of their individual differences, the most obvious being the characteristics that distinguished them as male and female. While those differences were there all along, they now compared their own uniqueness with those of the other person in light of their newly acquired understanding. In making this evaluation, each must have concluded their own differences were not as good as those of their spouse….’
In my opinion this book showed that ones vertical relationship tells on ones horizontal relationship. Simply put the extent in which you know God is seen in your relationship with people. I give the book a 4 out of 4
