During the covid-19 outbreak, the world quickly changed. The pandemic suddenly closes the doors and windows in our houses and brings us to the deepest corner to protect ourselves. The schools had been permanently closed and it was a big loss for us students. The pandemic not only caused a shift in learning set-up from physical to digital but it has also compelled many Filipino students to let go of their dreams of finishing their studies. The sudden situation loses my smile, hope, dreams, and future knowing that there will be no clue whether we can go back to the normal state or not anymore. This situation leaves me with a hopeless mindset. However, despite form any challenges brought by the pandemic my family told me that they wouldn't consider the pandemic as a hindrance to give me the bright future they ever wanted to see. Their encouragement bring back all the wasted hopes in my heart, thus, it makes me braver to fight this battle at all costs. Their words lifted up my hope, my perspective evolved and finally, I understand why I need to experience this kind of thing. I am very grateful to my family and friends who gives me strength with the newfound confidence I needed to move forward and discover my capabilities. They found parts of me I didn't know existed. I learned to believe in myself. I know I am braver than I think, more talented than I know, and capable of more than I imagine. All of these things made my journey uncomplicated and smooth sailing. I am happy because I manage to pursue reaching my dreams in the midst of this chaos.
Moreover, I found this new normal setup of studies as a meaningful experience. Although, at firsts, I experienced a bit of a culture shock because I sometimes got lost in my studies due to some reasons but I'm doing my best to manage and to get up with the help of the Lord. The setup, the environment, everything was unfamiliar, but I know the certain unfamiliarity was beautiful. I saw my growth, potential, unlabeled courage, and perseverance to make the impossible things to be possible happen. Life is truly nice because I am still firmly standing today, facing the challenges in life, and feeling the sorrows and sacrifices. However, I know that this is just a circumstance from the rigors of the real world.

Above all, I do believe that we are the heralds of hope and social justice drivers of our nation. We are called upon to reach and serve the most fabulous innovation we can ever give in our nation. At this point, we have to protect ourselves by following healthy protocols and staying at home always. These are the most common practice we should apply every day. I also encourage all of us to get vaccinated to help us alleviate the fast contamination of the virus. Overall, we should never fight alone because we had always that someone who will hold our hand through ups and downs. Someone who will believe in us when we had doubt in ourselves and always reminds us of how important is to fight and how vital it is not to do it alone.
