When I was my family and I just moved to our new house in Caddo. We were all really excited because our old house was kind of old and gross. Our new house had land, unlike our old house which had a tiny backyard. My dad decided to get us a four-wheeler. He really just got it for me to ride around with friends but my sister argued with me and said that it should be hers. She thought that because the last time we moved to a new house it was around Christmas time and I had really wanted an Xbox, my parents thought it would be fun for me to have. My sister had wanted to get a play kitchen but didn’t get one so that's why she was mad. “That should be my four-wheeler because you get all the cool things and I want them!” Molly exclaimed. My dad reminded her by saying “You got a bigger bed before he did.” He was right, Molly got a queen-sized bed when she was 7 and I was 11. I got mine when I was almost 12. Molly responded by saying “That's just a bed it’s not fun like a four-wheeler or a ranger.” When I heard that I got furious because I realized how mean she could be sometimes and how spoiled she was. She was mad because I got one thing that I had no idea I was getting.

About a year after we moved in we got a surprise that we were going to Disney World. Of course, we were all excited but I was the most excited. I got to go back for a second time but this time I was old enough to do all of the bigger rides. When we got there I was so excited and so were my sisters. We got to the room and there were only two beds. One for my parents and one for 2 of the 4 of us. The other 2 would sleep on a couch. As you could expect Molly and I got into a fight on who would sleep on the bed. I started the conflict with me yelling out “ I want the bed because I’m the oldest!” It was a real jerk move because I had always gotten the bed when we stayed in a hotel. All my sisters yelled, “No, you always get the bed!” This turned into a huge fight with all of us yelling at each other. We realized that we were at Disney World and that we should be happy that we got to be there. I ended up deciding to sleep on the pull-out couch. The next day when we went into the actual park and went to have breakfast at Cinderellas castle and as you can guess we got into another argument. This time it was who got to sit next to my ant and uncle. It was me and my little sister Mallory this time. As you can tell we get into the dumbest fights. This time it wasn’t that bad because we knew that we were in a public place and didn’t want to get in trouble.

We always got into super dumb fights and then I realized the reason. We always treated each other the way we didn’t want to be treated. This caused us to think it was ok to treat each other rudely because we never treated each other nicely. What I learned from all of these experiences was to treat others the way you want to be treated because it will pay off in the end when you get treated nicely.
