When it comes to natural beauty New Zealand is one of the most stunning countries in the hole world. Personally, I have never visited the country, but I always dreamed of it because it seems to be a very magnificent and unrealistic place to visit. There is no secret that ‘The Lord of the Rings’ was shot in New Zealand, and that is probably one of the reasons why I am writing this essay. Ever sense I was little I will be watching all these great movies such as 'King Kong', 'The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe' and others, wondering where is this place? Where is the place that so closely resembles the magical country? Since then, New Zealand has always been number one or two on my ‘Where I want to travel’ list. One of my favorite actors called Daniel Gillies that played in one of my preferred TV series called ‘The Vampire Diaries’ is from New Zealand as well. However, I thought that this was a great opportunity for me to write about something that is a part of my dreams and learn something, at the same time when it can teach you something as well, this will be helpful for you if you ever have a trip to New Zealand.
New Zealand is situated near Australia in the southwestern Pacific Ocean. The country itself is essentially made up of two islands the North Island, and this two are comprising most of the land area, but there are about 600 other smaller islands as well. This amazing country is considered a home to over 4 and a half million people, many of whom go by the funny and interesting nickname ‘Kiwi’ as the fruit you guessed. This type of slang world is actually coming from the Zealanders national country symbol: a flightless bird called ‘Kiwi’. Wellington is the southernmost capital in the world and the capital of, while Auckland, the original capital is considered the largest Polynesian city that used to goes by the name the ‘City of Sails’, which actually makes since when you consider that Auckland has more boats than any other place in the hole world. There are three official languages in New Zealand: English, Maori and New Zealand sign, but I think that you’ll be able to get by just fine with English, and even learn more of it.
Because of its diversity of different places, animals, plants, etc., people are enjoying travelling to New Zealand. There is something for everyone, for example: mountains, lakes, waterfalls, rivers beaches, caves, plants and animals so hopefully you are a fan of the furry cute farm animals called sheep because this is something the New Zealand have more of than the entire planet. There are hundreds of diverse animals you can find throughout the country, especially in birds and sea animals that you cannot find anywhere else in the world. In order to keep the animals safe in and around the country from haunters and others illegal activities they actually have a number of laws and regulations which is very good and important, it important to care about the nature and all the amazing creatures and birds and marine life that exists because they were not born for people to kill them. I was most impressed by the yellow-eyed penguin because they are so rare and unique. Its head is covered in yellow, pale-yellow eyes with a black feather in the center, bordered by a bright yellow stripe that runs from the eye to the back of the head. There is no question that they are amazing and very special the only problem is the food shortages. The penguins are seriously threatened and put in danger. The food shortages are the result from the sea temperature changes driven by the global warming. There you see, even if the yellow eyed penguins or another unique species live on the other half of the world they are still affected and that is our responsibility because we cannot predict the climate changes but we are still the major cause of the global warming which takes a big place in our lives.
I’ve already mentioned that I have never been to New Zealand but while I was doing my research, I found out that if you are planning a trip to New Zealand, it will be very beneficial for you to have a professional travel guide with you so that you can take the suggestions about where to go, but you can do your own research as well, by sourcing online for example. You might ask yourself, ‘So when is the perfect time to visit this magical country?’. The answer is that no matter what the season is you will for sure experience a diversity of weathers. The Zealanders have a famous speaking for that ‘Four seasons in a day’.
