‘Hidden Figures’ reflects the hard truths of society, and I admit it's one of the best films I've ever watched about the empowerment of women. The movie is the true story of three women working at NASA using computers, and they were involved in a project the United States was competing on called Project Mercury. Russia in the space race. America continues the race, but the journey is quiet, fun and complex. So, I mentioned the human computer above. This was the most amazing thing I learned in the movie. In the middle of the movie, I noticed the fact that men and women in the non-digital era were called computers in order to get out of the manual calculation of engineers.
The mathematicians Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughn, and Mary Jackson, African-American women at NASA's Langley Laboratory, have the potential to become important players in the launch of America's first spacecraft.
In one of the film's most influential scenes, Mary Jackson needs a judge's permission to attend classes at a white school for being black and female at the same time is a huge handicap. She asked the judge, “Of all the cases you are going to hear today, which one will make you the first? No matter what the challenge is like”. How terrible, you must not be afraid to be the first, only the first to enter the history books. When Dorothy Vaughan learned that a new IBM computer was installed at the base, she learned how to use it by herself. However, she did not leave this knowledge to herself, but let her colleagues learn how to use it. Gender doesn't matter when it comes to promoting success. After all, no one can see your efforts and the only thing they can change is the end result of your efforts. Like Katherine Johnson, Mary Jackson, Dorothy Vaughn, and many other women who paved the way to a more equitable workplace, don't let trifles prevent you from achieving your goals, the results of your hard work speak for you.

At some point in the movie, Dorothy stole a book she needed from the library after the library staff kicked her out because it was in the Whites only section. In addition, Katherine received a document containing several edited texts, with limited information that prevented her from solving the problem. But instead of giving up, she found a way to access and edit files. Katherine is constantly in disagreement with her boss. When she added her name to the report, he always demanded that she take off, but she still added it again. Instead, she rises above his head in front of him and raises his case to his boss.
The next scene that for me was amazed, it was when Katherine talked about NASA's bathroom separation. Like Katherine and other women who have honed their way for others, they need to pave the way for others with you aloud about the problems and challenges they face as women in the tech field.
So, in summary, ‘Hidden Figures’ reflects the importance of determination, diligence and resilience. “A dear woman can be everything you want to be”.
