However, when Disney was sixteen, he dropped out of school because he wanted to perform his part in World War 1 but was declined for being underage. Walt had a very driven spirit and he didn't let his age stop him from pursuing his goals so he forged his paperwork so he would qualify. Walt was then transferred to France becoming an ambulance driver but was eventually discharged, in 1919.

The earliest part of Disney's career was when he moved to Hollywood in 1923. His brother Roy worked as a vacuum salesman and wanted Walt to do the same. Instead, he received a call from a company in New York and was hired to create animated shorts.

Disney’s first success in the animation industry was the creation of Steamboat Willie in 1928. It was the first Mickey Mouse film released and the first cartoon on the planet with synchronized sound.

Walt Disney was a visionary and he passed on his legacy by giving his name to the most famous brand of family entertainment, on the planet. In March 1952, Disney received permission to build a theme park in Burbank, near his head office at Disney Studios.

Disney was an entrepreneur who was motivated by his extroverted and driven spirit. He embodies various characteristics of leadership such as vision, communication skills, and boldness.

Zootopia is a Walt Disney animated film that was made and released on the 17th of March 2016. On the 26th of February 2017, the film won the 89th Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film. The film falls under the genre of comedy, action, and mystery. The movie was produced by Clark Spencer, an American businessman, studio executive, and film producer. The music was composed by Michael Giacchino, an American composer for films, television, and video games.

The movie is about the great city of Zootopia, which is run by anthropomorphic animals. The main characters of the film are Judy Hops, who was voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin, and Nick Wilde, who was voiced by Jason Batemen. Judy is a police officer bunny, who originated from a carrot farm in the country, and her sidekick Nick is a male con artist fox. They work together throughout the film exploring the city, and trying to uncover the mystery of fourteen missing mammal cases.

The production team invested a lot of time in developing the world the story takes place. They paid great attention to detail and spent hundreds of hours trying to make every animal look right. The team studied animal hair under microscopes so they could develop 64 species of mammals with 64 individual hairstyles. The sort of detail is evident throughout the film and helps immerse the audience in the story.

During the making of Zootopia, a virus called Zika spread across Brazil, and hundreds of babies were born with severe brain injuries after their mothers were bitten by infected mosquitos. Brazil hosted the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Donald Trump, a real estate mogul, and reality TV star won the 2016 US presidential elections.
