What is global warming? Global warming is the average temperature of Earth has increased since 1950 until now the temperature continues increasing. Global warming can also refer to climate change that causes an increase in the average temperature. However global warming is caused by natural events and humans that are believed to contribute to the increase in average temperatures. Global warming is a major problem and is not a single issue but a series of environmental problems. Global warming is a rise in the surface temperature of the earth that has changed various life forms on the earth. The issues that cause global warming are divided into two categories including “natural” and “human influences” of global warming. The climate has continuously changed for centuries.

Global warming occurs due to the natural rotation of the sun that changes the intensity of sunlight and moves closer to the earth. Another cause of global warming concludes greenhouse gases. Greenhouse gases are carbon monoxide and sulfur dioxide( they trap the solar heat rays and prevent them from escaping from the surface of the earth) This has caused the temperature of the earth to increase. Volcanic eruptions are another issue that causes global warming. For instance, a single volcanic eruption will release a large amount of carbon dioxide and ash into the atmosphere. Once carbon dioxide increases, the temperature of the earth increases and the greenhouse traps the solar radiation in the earth. Finally, methane is another issue that causes global warming.

Methane is also a greenhouse gas. Methane is more effective in trapping heat in the atmosphere than carbon dioxide by 20 times. Usually methane gas can be released from many areas. For example, it can happen from cattle, landfill, natural gas, petroleum systems, coal mining, or industrial waste processes. Human influence has been a very serious issue now because humans do not take care of the earth. Humans that cause global warming are more than natural causes of global warming. The earth has been changing for many years until now it is still changing because of the modern lifestyle of humans. Human activities include industrial production, burning fossil fuel, mining, cattle rearing, and deforestation. The first issue is the industrial revolution. Companies have been using fossil fuels for machines. Everything that we use is involved in fossil fuel. For example, when we buy a mobile phone, the process of making a mobile phone involves machines and machines use fossil fuels, during the process carbon dioxide is released into the atmosphere. Besides industrial, transportation such as cars is also releasing carbon dioxide from the exhaust. Another issue is mining. During the process of mining, the methane will trap below the earth.

Rearing cattle will also cause methane because cattle released the form of manure. However, cattle is important because it makes the latter equally responsible for the occurrence of global warming Next is the most common issue that is deforestation. Deforestation is a human influence because humans have been cutting down trees to produce paper, wood, build houses, and more. If humans continue deforestation, carbon dioxide will concentrate in the atmosphere because trees can absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Besides, humans also release carbon dioxide when they breathe. Therefore the amounts of millions of people breathing have released carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. If humans continue deforestation, human breathing that releases carbon dioxide will stay in the atmosphere. The greenhouse gases will stay in the atmosphere for many years since hundreds of years ago. However, the effect that global warming will cause on Earth is extremely serious. If global warming continues, plenty of negative consequences will evolve.

Melting polar ice caps, economic effects, warming oceans and more storms, disease transmission, and earthquakes are all examples. The melting of the polar ice caps is the first effect. The ice at the North Pole will melt as the temperature rises. Once the ice melts the first effect will be raised on sea levels because the melting glaciers become oceans. According to the National Snow and Ice Data Center “If the ice melted today the seas would rise about 230 feet”. It affects many low-lying areas like the Netherlands. In the future, the Netherlands will be covered by water once the North Pole is melted. However, it is not going to happen so fast but the sea level will continue to rise. Another effect is the species' loss of habitat. Species that include polar bears and tropical frogs will be extinct due to climate change. Besides, various birds will migrate to other places because animals are not like humans. They are unable to adjust to changes in their environment, such as temperature or living conditions. The next result is that more hurricanes will occur, with economic implications.

Hurricanes cause damage to houses and the government needs to spend billions of dollars in damage and people need places to stay or have been killed. Once a disaster happens many people have died and diseases happen. Diseases are more serious because they can spread to other people very fast and more people will get the disease and the disease may come more serious because of different weather. Now there are solutions that we are able to stop warming. However, we humans and governments have to move forward to implement warming solutions. To scale back warming we will reduce the contribution of greenhouse gases to the atmosphere. Therefore, the solutions that we are able to reduce warming are reducing gasoline, electricity, and our activities that cause warming. to scale back gasoline means we have the option to choose a hybrid car that reduces gasoline. Besides, petrol prices are increasing. If someone everyday drives to figure they have to pump petrol after 3 days and cause greenhouse emissions. differently to cut back gasoline is to require conveyance or carpool to figure. It can help reduce greenhouse emissions and save costs. A different way to scale back warming is recycling.

Recycling can reduce garbage by reusing plastic bags, bottles, papers, or glass. For example, after we take out, we will use our own containers rather than plastic bags. Another example is after finishing drinking the water from the bottle; we are able to reuse it or use our own bottle. If all this is often being re-used, humans can reduce deforestation and help save the environment. Besides, close up electricity if unused. It can save thousands of greenhouse gas and buy products that have energy-saving because it saves cost and saves the environment. Finally, humans should stop open burning like burning dry leaves or burning garbage. it'll release carbonic acid gas and be toxic if burning garbage with plastic. Besides, the govt. should reduce deforestation because the earth's temperatures are increasing. Trees will help to boost the temperature on Earth. Overall, I've understood that our earth is extremely sad and sick :(. We humans have to “heal” the world. heating has caused many problems for humans but we humans who make heating happen. Many of us have died due to disease or disaster. It also affects the economy of the country. However, we'd like to cut back on warming by using less gasoline, recycling, and humans should help to scale back heating rather than making the earth's temperature increase. Our generation should start taking care of the world because, within the next generation, they're going to suffer if we don't reduce warming. Therefore, warming may be a serious issue now. As business students, we are learning it because we'd like to know the effect of temperature change that may affect us once we have our business and that we can start saving the world.
