India of my dreams
I am Lakshya Sharma. Like every human, I love my Country, My India. I think every human wants his nation to be a great nation, perfect in all spheres and I am not an exception. I too have the perfect India of my dreams.
Like all Indians, In India of my dreams, I wish that all citizens should be happy and healthy. Although these two words seem too small but to make this dream a reality a country needs prosperity, peace, harmony, good health, freedom of thought, global respect, and equality of all types.

When I tried to find how we can achieve this goal I found that every year all the countries of this world are ranked for happiness and prosperity by United Nations and they make a happiness index report. According to the happiness index report of 2019, India is ranked 140 out of 156 nations.
You will be surprised to know that a small country Finland is ranked first and even the countries like Bangladesh, Nepal, and Bhutan do have a better rank and are in the top 100. Don’t you feel that it is a serious concern?
When I dig it further I got the exact factors that are being considered by UNO for this ranking and are actually responsible for the prosperity and happiness of a country. After this exploration, the faded Idea of India of my dreams got cleared and I will like to share with you all that in India of my dreams I would like to have quality education for every citizen, Quality food and health facilities for all, Cleanliness and hygienic culture, good opportunities and employment with high per capita income, Stringent law, and order, Freedom of thoughts and equality for all citizens, no corruption, no place for any type of violence, no discrimination on the basis of cast, gender, and creed.
All these things can be achieved with the mutual efforts of the government and the normal public. To conclude here I would like to quote Mahatama Gandhi Ji’s words “Be, the change, you want to see in the world”. I believe that a nation becomes great because of its citizens. So, I have decided and I urge all Indians to make our India the India of our dreams, instead of blaming the system and waiting for miracles we all should change our attitude and put our best efforts to contribute to the success of our country. I believe together we can make a difference.
