I think Pluto, in my opinion, is a planet. That might be an unpopular opinion. Here is my reasoning, and here is my argument.Pluto has been classified as a planet since 1930 when Clyde Tombaugh discovered it. As well as it fits a description of the planet during Roman times examples include Earth, Mercury, Jupiter, Mars, and Venus. So it could be a problem that is classified differently just because it’s in the Khyber belt with its icy brethren. The new definition makes Pluto a target because its neighborhood is very crowded, filled with thousands of interplanetary masses. The new horizon satellite’s orbit we have discovered has cryovolcanoes, hills and trenches. Its orbit might be elliptical and at 45 degree angles, but do we target people for having different ways of walking? But you might say that there’s another planet that is much larger than Pluto and it’s not a planet. But it’s newly discovered and has no moon as we know of or name, but Pluto has a moon and atmosphere with weather that is rare for planets to have with fresh water it could habitable. So in conclusion Pluto is a planet with the reasons stated above with those reasons my argument could be heavily criticized. By saying you’re not an expert, and that you’re just an average person. But your argument is that Pluto doesn’t fit the new description, but hey, that’s just my outlook.
