In the story ‘The Most Dangerous Game' by Connel the Ship-Trap Island was set in the Caribbean Sea.
Rainsford arrives at the mysterious island after a yacht to see what the gunshot came from so he goes overboard, and swims to the nearest island. The island was the mysterious island that was known as ‘Ship-Trap Island’ because many ships would go missing. So he decides to sleep in a cave.
The next morning he woke up to see a person named Whitney sitting on a rock motionless. I walked over to him, but he was cold and I couldn’t find any pulse on him. He was dead. I had to find something to do with his body I couldn’t just leave it outside. So I stuffed his body in a fishing net and dragged him all the way to the sea. I threw his body out into the sea and let him float away. I was exhausted from dragging his body all over the jungle so I just passed out on the shore. I woke up, then the next morning to the sound of the waves. I had to find a way off this terrible island. In the distance, I saw a boat just floating around in circles. I waved my hands and jumped up and down trying to get the boat’s attention. But I didn’t grab the boat driver's attention.
So I started to run through the jungle and I came across a big house and there were two tall people at the front door and I asked “Do you know English’ and one banged on the door and someone came out. He said, “I’m a big fan”. I have been a hunter since I was 5 my first kill was a jaguar. So he took me up to a room and he said: “This is your room for tonight”.So he walked away and then zaroff came into my room and said I hope you live this night with a half smile on his face and ran to the door and locked it and I looked out the window and I see Zaroff arrived on the shore getting shot I try to jump out the window but it had bars on it so I had to go to sleep. In the morning when I woke up, I see 5 dogs running after me to the shore and I see a boat and yell and they see but they had to do something about the dogs so they shoot the dogs and lets the ladder down and the person I saw on the boat it was a new boat driver named Ricky Bobby who was glad to see me. He told me he had been looking for me the whole time and that he runs into a dead body earlier today in a bag and had panicked because he thought it was me. I told Ricky bobby about my whole adventure and encounter with Whitney. Zaroff was amazed by my whole adventure and quickly got us both off the island. I made him promise me that we would never go on another hunting trip ever again.
