As a human person, committing a mistake is not a big deal since it is part of learning and growing. We made mistakes and learn from them. We are made with our flaws and weaknesses, but it doesn’t reveal our true identity. We are covered up with our imperfections, and it is how we show ourselves. Just like Punchinello, there are times that I’ve been doubtful of myself, I thought I can’t do what others can do, but it hits me that it doesn’t matter what I can’t do, I should love and embrace my flaws and ability when it comes to things. I started to think about the brighter side of not competing with anyone. I learned to look forward to things I am capable of and start to prove myself and let anyone sees how it goes not minding their criticisms and views. I’m not settling for less but I go for the better opportunity and greatness within myself. I have learned not to depend on myself from the views of others, what truly matters is how I appreciate my worth and my Creator’s plan. His love is one way for me to overcome all the challenges I’ve been through, and one thing I am proud of is that I can do everything I want to with or without others' opinions and judgment because I know God created me as a unique person. I admit that I am not a perfect child in the family. I’m always unsure of things and afraid to show my mistakes. I cannot manage to handle discouragements and am afraid to accept words from them. It feels like it will be better if I can do it all by myself first and prove something before I’ll consider paying it back to them. I couldn’t even handle another burden if I did something wrong, but, I guess, it’s too late for me to realize now. To realize that it is something that my family wants, for me to explore what I want and not what they want me to be. Too late for me to realize that it doesn’t matter to them if I’ll commit mistakes and do something wrong. They will be more driven if they knew that I’m trying my best to the extent of what I can do. It goes nothing when you’re doing things you don’t love. I am a happy-go-lucky child that has full of dreams for my family. I am God’s child and I’m proud to say that I’ve been made with compassion, love, and sincerity. I believe that I’m unique in my ways. I always put God at the center of my life. Everything will seem to fall in place when you are a believer and at the same time an instrument to others. As a child of God, doing well and sharing the blessing with others will reflect you as a person. I’m a special person with the ability to spread the good news of God and also I go to church every Sunday to attend mass for thanking Him for the blessings and gift of life. I am sure of things when I’m with God’s direction and protection. His guidance serves as my comfort and His love is my power to overcome all the battles I’ve been through. I leave everything to Him when I’m down, I praise Him when I’m great, and I believe all his ways. All that I can do and all that I did is the fruit of waiting for the moment. He will let me harvest it. What matters beyond everything is His judgment and ways, for me to learn, and value the life He gave. I am a strong independent student and a determined person who always looks for opportunities that will guide me along my way to be successful someday. Jamming with classmates, and talking with teachers, are the things I usually do. I am fond of doing crazy stuff and showing my real side. I used to talk about crazy kinds of stuff and make fun of it. Maybe, it is one of my sides that I’m capable of. I always see myself as a student who loves performing with my friends and at the same time studying. My parents taught me to cherish life while I’m still young and able to do whatever I want, and also they taught me not to make decisions out of temptation and curiosity.
While growing up both at home and school, experiences are in charge of whatever things may lead and happen to us. We leave everything to experience. As a student, peer pressure is not a thing for me since I began discovering myself on the day I committed mistakes. They say, learn from your mistakes and everything will fall into place.
