Worldview is how you, as a person, see the world. We revolve our decisions and life choices on this said worldview. Stated in Finding your Worldview “A worldview is our underlying philosophy of life. ” When we understand what our worldview is, we can make better judgements and choices based on that.

If we take a deeper looking into a certain worldview, biblical worldview, we can see how having this specific worldview answers certain questions that other worldviews may not know. We that have a biblical worldview believe that God is the creator and he creator the Earth and everything surrounding it. Genesis 1:1 states, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. ” He made every man and woman along with every creature. Each and everyone has a purpose. Genesis 1:27 says, “So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them, male and female he created them.2” That leads us into being human. God created you and me, but he also created every creature living among us. He does not love any more or any less. Humans are more valuable then animals, for example Matthew 10:31 states, “So do not be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.2” This does not mean God cares sparrows any less. Matthew 6:26, “ Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. ” Everything including these birds and ourselves were created for him Colossians 1:16 explains, “For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rules or authorities; all things have been created though him and for him.3” Our purpose is to worship him 1 Corinthians 10:31 says it best, “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.3” The fact that we are doing everything for God and to get us close to him helps determine our morality. It is written in 1 peter 1:16 “for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.3” If we surround ourselves with good people we will have good morals the best example of that is 1 Corinthians 15:33 “Do not be misled: ‘Bad company corrupts good character. 3” All of this brings us to what happens when we die. God gave us his son so that we can have eternal life in heaven as stated in John 3:16 “ For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 3” We may die but we will live forever with him in heaven John 11:25 says, “Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.3”

God himself created everything as I stated in the past paragraph. If he created everything why would he want us to treat it crappy. Proverbs 12:10 says “The righteous care for the needs of their animals.3” If you built a house from scratch, you would not enjoy someone walking in their and trashing the place. In the same way you treat animals with respect you should also treat people the same way. Always treat someone how you wish to be treated. Luke 6:31 “Do to others as you would have them do to you.3” You never know what someone is going through.
