Through the years, the wage pay between men and women has lessened by 21.3%; however, women in 2018 were still making around 20% less than their male counterparts.Through this paper you will see how gender pay gap is a result of discrimination. People of color earned $18 dollars to a white person $25 according to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics. In 2016 black men earned $7 dollars less per hour than a white man or 70 cents to a white man's dollar. Both Hispanic and black women make 63 cents to a white womans dollar. No matter what color someone is every one should be paid equally as their coworkers.

In 2016 Economic Committee stated the Women ages 65 and up will receive $17,400 per year while men earn $32100 per year. That is a 44% difference. Women between ages 18 and 24 earn about 88% as much as men of the same age. Ages between 45 and 54 earn 70 cents to the dollar as men make per year.This study shows that as women get older they make lesser than man. The difference gets bigger and bigger.

Colored people get paid less because they are different and so they don't need to be around the money making white men. They should just be put into jobs that white men don't want to do.

Women should be paid the same if they went through the same things that a man went through. If a women works at the same job as a man and works the same shifts she should get paid the same. Women should recieve thet same bonus and raises as a man if she works the same as him. A man shouldnt hire a women just because she is a women. He should hire her because she is a hard worker. Who is good at what she does and can do it efficently. No matter what a women job is she should not have to worry if she is getting paid less than the other men who work with her.
