Pit bulls are they the best breed of dog to have? What about to keep around your family or to keep around the house period? Most dog attacks that have been covered by news stations are of pit bulls. The news coverage has made people nervous about this canine breed. Even though pit bulls are most dog attacks anybody hears about, they are loyal and caring creatures. All they want is the love and approval of their owners. That is all any animal or human wants. They will do anything that they are told to do. Pit bulls are not vicious by nature; they are good guard dogs fueled by the love for their family; and they are loyal companions. They are very strong guard dogs. Pit bulls are known to be a scary breed, so people stay away from them. People are afraid to let these dogs be around their families and friends. Are they really viewed as monsters? The fact that they have an enormous amount of strength, speed, and stamina. This can be used to hurt them and or help them depending on who is debating the issue of their rights.
The American Temperament Test Society, Inc. shows that 86.8% of American Pit Bull Terriers have passed their temperament tests better than Golder Retrievers or Collies. They have a lower temperament; they are not vicious by nature at all. The history of the pit bull breed goes back to the 19th century, during that time this breed was used to protect livestock, families, children and even nannies to the children. All dog breeds are territorial, they just want their own place to call home, and their own families or companions and they do not want to share their home with other animals. It is a trait all dogs have, but people notice it in pit bulls more than the other breeds. Pit bulls are very loyal to their family, so they will protect their family at all costs.
If a pit bull is trained as an attack dog, their stamina and speed can be scary. They are very active and can outrun many people with their speed and stamina. If someone is trying to attack a family member the pit bull will defend them with its life as most breeds would. They are very loyal to those they love. Their loyalty is what makes them good guard dogs. They can guard anything if their owners teach them to. They will especially guard their owners with their lives. The love that they offer for their family is so much.
