Spider-Man's amazing rise from comics to film has changed a lot. He has grown up from being a short small scrawny boy in the comic, which was made in 1962, to a medium height muscular elderly teenager, which was made in 2019. In the comic, he is made up to be quite a shy individual who has very minimal friends and lives with his aunt and uncle, but later in the comic his uncle gets killed and he is out for revenge. In the film ‘Spider-Man: Far from Home’, he is planned out to be quite a confident young man who is about to go and travel with his class with some of his best friends and his crush, but it all goes terribly wrong during their trip, as they get attacked by monstrous elemental monsters from other worlds.
Stan Lee began writing the comic version of Spider-Man on January the 3rd 1977. He made the main character, Peter Parker, a young teenage boy, who was loved by most people and out of the ordinary gets radioactive powers. The film ‘Spider-Man: Far from Home’ was released on the 26th of June 2019, and starred the same character, Peter Parker, who was a young adult just about to leave high school, who loved to adventure with friends and have fun, but if his team needed his help to fight crime, he would always be there for them and ready to fight whatever was in his way and make sure that him and his friends were safe.
Main characters of the Spider-Man comic include: Peter Parker, an orphan raised by his Aunt May and Uncle Ben, Doctor Octopus, Green Goblin, Venom, Miles Morales, Gwen Stacy and Mary Jane Watson. The plot for the comic of Spider-Man is that he gets bitten by a venomous spider which gives him powers that he didn’t even now could happen and must fight mutated creatures such as crocodiles that can stand on the back legs and try to kill you, and also an octopus, who doesn’t need water to live and will try to choke you with his tentacles. Main characters of ‘Spider-Man: Far from Home’ include: Peter Parker, Aunt May, Mysterio, Nick Fury and Mysterio’s team.
Some similarities of the comic and the film are they both fight enemies/monsters, they both have the one main character Peter Parker, they both are involved with marvel, they both live with their Aunt May, they are both high school students.
Some differences are in the comic: he fights a giant mutated octopus and a mutated man, Green Goblin. He lives with his aunt and uncle, has a high school bully. Some differences in the film: he fights giant elemental monsters from another world, there is another superhero called Mysterio who is a fake, he only lives with his aunt, he travels overseas, he has a best friend who knows that he's Spider-Man, and finally he is given special glasses that were from Tony Stark.
In the original story of Spider-Man (the comic), I think that Peter Parker is developed to be the main hero and the whole world relies on him for everything, like even if there is the smallest danger and some sought of little bug is attacking people, they will call him, even though they could have killed it by themselves. But in the new film ‘Spider-Man: Far from Home’, there is like a whole group of them so they could just call for like Spider-Man, Thor, Hulk or anyone that they need, and not just keep on calling for Spider-Man. And I think that Spider-Man has been adapted a lot and he has changed in the way he acts, speaks, looks and talks like.
I think that the adaptation of the comic into the newest film, ‘Spider-Man: Far from Home’, have been very effective in making the movie a lot more enjoyable for people of ages, and not only that, but it also makes me want to spread how good the movie is and tell others to go and watch it.
I also think that the adaptation of Peter Parker’s character and the adaptation of his aunt may have happened for the best, and that they have changed both characters majorly in both the way they act, look and speak.
