Introduction
Nothing in this world is black and white, there is always grey, so when it comes to abortion everyone is allowed to have their own opinion, as long as it doesn’t affect anyone else. People can argue all they want whether abortion is right or wrong but the answer comes with the c-word; Choice. If you don’t believe in abortion thats okay but it doesn’t mean that you can take away someone else’s rights, because everyone should be allowed to have a choice. It’s estimated that around 16 million teenage girls get pregnant every year, kids our age, and now there are laws forcing them to have to give birth against their will.
People believe pro choice means pro abortion but no one is pro abortion. The entire point of being pro choice is that women should feel free to have the choice of wanting a baby. An abortion is a very hard and emotional choice for a woman but sometimes it is a necessary choice and around 95% of women who had abortions claimed it was the right decision for them.

Men made the law Pro lifers only care about the baby until it’s born, they don’t stop to think about what happens to the child after 25 white men republicans in the Alabama senate voted to stop abortion It isn’t their body; her body her choice
The law states that anyone under 18 can’t buy a lottery ticket, drive a vehicle or vote but now 11 year old girls are required to carry out a full term pregnancy because they’ve been raped? If a woman tries to leave state to get an abortion the consequence is 10 years in jail and the doctor could face up to 99 years in jail for terminating a pregnancy after conception, more time than the rapist. If a teenager wanted to adopt a child, the government wouldn’t let them. They haven’t finished their education, they can’t financially support themselves and they are not legally an adult. If the teenager becomes pregnant, the government can ban her from getting an abortion. Why are republicans who believe and I quote; “why shouldn’t a man be free to use his superior strength to force himself on a woman?” and that “rape victims should make the best of a bad situation” getting to decide the legal rights of a womans body.
Even when abortion is illegal women will still always find ways to get abortions except more dangeorus. How do people who say they are prolife not realise that they aren’t going to end abortion only safe abortion. The World Health Organisation estimates that 47,000 women die from unsafe abortions every year, how is that prolife? We should be moving forward but instead we are going back to the dark ages. Women have thrown themselves down stairs, drained themselves of blood, and squatted over pots of onions in the hopes of a miscarriage. There are 22 million unsafe abortions every year, have we not learned anything from our past?
Conclusion
So if you say your pro life then welcome the refugees that need our help, do something about the 793 million people who are starving around the world, and speak out about the number of unarmed people who are shot down in our streets. Instead of thinking how can we stop abortion, the question should be how can we reduce abortions, how can we provide the resources that would help allow women more choice to keep the child, so people don’t feel like abortion is the only choice. Why are we letting white male republicans make decisions for woman because at the end of the day, no one, especially the government should be able to take away someone’s choice.
