Teaching is hard work, and some teachers will never be better than mediocre people. They only pose minimum requirements, nothing more. However, excellent teachers work tirelessly to create a challenging training environment for their students. Good teaching seems to have nothing to do with our knowledge and skills but with our attitude toward students, our subjects, and our work. Although this list is certainly not exhaustive, I have summarized some of the most important characteristics of what I believe to be a good teacher, regardless of the age of the student.
Firstly, a good teacher respects his students. In a classroom of excellent teachers, everyone's ideas and opinions are valued. Students can express their feelings confidently and learn to respect and listen to others. Such a teacher creates a warm learning environment for all students.
Moreover, a good teacher will create a sense of community and belonging in the classroom. Mutual respect among teachers in the classroom provides a supportive and collaborative environment. In this small community, there are rules to follow and work to be done. Every student knows that he is an important and inseparable part of the team. A good teacher will let students know that they can trust not only her but the entire class as well.
Good teachers are enthusiastic, approachable, enthusiastic, and caring. Not only can students communicate with this person, but everyone on campus can also communicate with this person. Students know that they can ask the teacher for help with any questions or concerns, and they can even share interesting stories. Excellent teachers have good listening skills and will take time out of their busy schedules to serve those in need. While teaching seems to be a natural gift for some people, others must work overtime to achieve outstanding teacher status. However, for such a teacher and his students, the rewards are enormous.
