A study held by the American Cancer Society has shown that THC and other cannabinoids such as CBD can reduce or slow the growth of cancer cells in tissues. Some studies have also shown that smoking marijuana (inhaled or vaporized) can be a useful therapeutic for neuropathic pain and can also benefit HIV patients in developing food intake.
