Many students said that IELTS exam is very difficult, challenging for them to get a good score, which will assist them to acquire the job. And some students see that IELTS exam is a suitable condition to work in teaching field.

Literature Review

According to Alfalahi (2012), many stakeholders trust on IELTS exam as an important critical of the level of graduates of English Language level Test, or as an a measure Language level at any other desired for a particular job graduate, or to complete the postgraduate studies, as a teacher for the Ministry of Education. This first implicit admission that the English Language outputs a question mark (?), here does not refer to any Education Institution supreme self-contained, and therefore competing today a lot of Language Institutes sit this Test, and varies. Graduates students who planning to teach in English Language Teaching Field faces difficulties to obtain the IELTS score that required in Teaching Field.

Another idea UCLES (1998), In order to try to get a job in the English Language Teaching Field, you must furnish testify of ingenuity in English Language before you offer to the job. The most widely used method is International English Language Testing System (IELTS). It is one of the most important for the purpose of getting a job in the teaching field. International English Language Testing System (IELTS) first established in 1998, and replaced the ELTS ( English Language Testing Service), which is what it was originally designed for as a test for potential grand students. In the IELTS substantiation project, which involved a survey of 400 overseas students at British universities, it was found that: nearly 30 per cent was sensed to be deprived in their studies by deficient Language proficiency. On the other hand, 70 per cent of students who were doing well in their studies. Many had assisted pre-sessional courses. Consequently, there was a need for a test which not only steeled readiness to take on a degree in an English-speaking universities, but on that could also designate an approximate guideline for length of English session previously to the insertion degree course so that an appropriate Language level can be gained.

A third writer Elder (1993), Essentially IELTS Test is designed to check your linguistic capability and eligibility in the English Language. No matter what you are and where are you from. You can logically overcome this exam. Anyway To cut it short, this is a kind of aptitude test. Instead of rating, gust face these difficulties by learning and researching more about this test. Try to find an examiner from your city or do it online. Sit with him and ask questions about the nature of the test, whether it is reading or writing. Many of the students keep saying it is difficult test and the result they fail in it or some students think they are speaking English fluently or native speakers but they may have underrating this Test.

Ranson (1990) says that Nonnative speakers of English wishing to work in the teaching field or even wishing to study at tertiary level in English speaking countries are increasingly required to prove their English language competence by taking an internationally recognized test such as the international English language testing system. And in order to get asset in this field you must get at least 6.0 score band as a necessary requirement. While on the other hand, students disagree about this requirement. They say that it is difficult for them to get this score. While other agrees that this score is the most important one.

Based on Hughes (1989), Nowadays a lot of jobs require some conditions to be employed on it. And one of these requires is IELTS certificate. In teaching field sector IELTS becoming an essential condition, requirement to be employed and getting the job. This is in order to assess student's capacity to successfully undertake in English language. This condition is a good way for employment because, they job in teaching field needs the one that will be able to teach the students efficiently and in the right way.

Brown (2004) stats that IELTS is a money making machine which main purpose is to gain money and be gainful. The test is not really about English. It is about making money on passing and readying for the test, because everything in this test is just made to confuse you. The test is merely a branch of stratagem to mess up your attention. In everyday communication and academic setting, this does not happen. Moreover, universities or institutes who set up the test, do not have any Criteria for assessment. The only thing in their mind is money. Gain money from everyone and screw their future. And there are totally agreements that IELTS test is a business now, many people did it for more than one time and some did it for 7 times or more than. For example, their results in first time were 7.0. And when they take it again, they get 6.5. Or some get 7.0 in writing module and when they take it again, they get 6.5 in the same module. They said that there is no transparency in the marking system. Even IELTS cannot prove English proficiency if one gets unfamiliar topic in speaking or writing. Each country / college must have their own test to place the potential of the candidate.

The ministry of education do this to get those teachers whom have highly qualified and proficient in the language. And this is the right of the ministry. The ministry stats that students studying English language for 5 or 4 years in the universities or in the college so, they must have the ability to succeed in IELTS test if they want to be teachers.

Methodology

The purpose of my research was to find out why IELTS test is an essential condition for employment in English language teaching field. In order to find answers about these questions, interview research method was used semi-structured interviews with five questions were used. The interview took place in Rustaq College of Applied Science in the fall of 2015. Five teachers from the College were selected. The teachers were all from the ELT Department. And I interviewed two females and three males. Three of the participants were non-Omanis. The semi-structured interview in particular was used as a research tool in order to find more detailed and deep information about IELTS Test as a condition for employment in English language field.

Results & Discussions

After I finished the interview with the teachers I started analyzing the answers. Starting with the first question of the interview asking about the meaning of IELTS, answers were various. All five participants believed that IELTS is a necessary condition. This contradicted with some theory that mentioned in the literature review where IELTS was described as a necessary condition in teaching field. And in every job there are some conditions to get it and one of these conditions is IELTS Test. Ministry of education requires this condition is a necessary condition to teach in teaching field because she wants to get good teachers who have the ability to teach efficiently.

In the fourth question asking about the score that students must get it to be for employment in teaching field. All five teachers believed that students must get at least 6.0 score band in order to get the job. This contradicted with what was mentioned in the literature review where describing that in order to get asset in this field you must get at least 6.0 score band as a necessary requirement.

In the fifth question asking about how can IELTS becoming very important in education, all five teacher's answers were similar. However, they believed that those teachers who have IELTS certificate can make some improvements in teaching. Also, they believed that those teachers who have highly qualified and proficient in the language can be more efficient.

Conclusion

To sum up, this topic is really rich with information and discussion, and it is too difficult to cover everything in this research, but after working and collecting data, besides studying the previous studies. I found that IELTS is very important and a very necessary condition as a requirement in teaching field. Many universities, ministries and colleges want their teachers in a highly qualified because this will the make the organization develop and progress.
